Why Do People Think Sports at Casa de Campo is a Good Idea?

Once you’ve made the decision to book a stay at our luxury Casa de Campo villa, it may be difficult to imagine you’ll want to leave it, but in case you do, the resort offers plenty of sports and activities for those who want to keep active on their vacation.

In fact sports at Casa de Campo is home to some of the finest sporting facilities in the Dominican Republic.

World-Class Facilities

If tennis is your sport, you’re in luck. The resort’s La Terraza Tennis center, which is known as the Wimbledon of the Caribbean, offers top-notch facilities for tennis players at every level of experience.

Novice tennis players can learn from the center’s large staff of pro and junior professional staffers.

Private lessons are also available upon request.

Of course, one of the biggest attractions at Casa de Campo is the world-famous Teeth of the Dog golf course, where guests can play on three championship courses, each one set amid the natural beauty of the Dominican Republic. All created by world famous golf architect Pete Dye.

Casa de Campo also boasts a large shooting centre which is widely considered to be among the best in the world.

There are two hundred stations for shooting skeet, trap, and pigeon rings. The facility also includes a tower—at 110 feet, the tallest shooting tower in the world—which throws targets in four directions.

For travelers who’d prefer not to deal with the extra paperwork of securing a permit to travel with a gun, the shooting center has a large selection of shotguns for the use of patrons.

Plenty of Options for Children

For guests who have booked a family villa and brought the kids along, there is the FCBEscola, a fine facility for soccer training to children between the ages of 6 and 14.

In addition to one-on-one soccer training, Casa de Campo is home to the American Sports Academy, which offers training to children between the ages of 7 and 17 in a variety of sports—baseball, golf, tennis, aquatics, soccer, basketball, fitness, and equestrian.

Your children will probably find it as difficult as you do to leave your family villa, but when they do, they’ll have no shortage of activities.
